Thanksgiving!

On Thanksgiving last year we were just coming home from the hospital with our newborn baby.  It's amazing how much can change in one year!  We now have a very happy 'almost toddler' running around with us!

This year, we went to Alexandria for the day to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family.  It was an amazing day and everyone had a great time together.  Chelsea especially loved playing with her cousins.

We tried to take pictures of the kiddos before leaving home, but Chelsea wasn't in the mood

The kids spent the majority of the time playing in Alayna's room and Joel and Jillian's house.  Chelsea's eyes grew wide with amazement at all the barbies and ponies.

Tyler was very tired but refused to fall asleep in his pack n play.  He seemed to prefer laying on daddy's shoudler

Banana's always make Tyler happy.  I had to pull out the 'big dog' to calm him down for a bit.

Dinner Time!  Jillian made an EXCELLENT Thanksgiving feast for us!

Tyler was excited!

Presents!

We decided to wait until Tyler's party was done to open presents.  We didn't want to make everyone sit through a lengthy present opening with the number of people we had attend.  It was much more fun for everyone to let the kids play that extra half an hour.

Both kiddos went down for naps when all the guests left and Tyler woke up first.  We had him open presents while Chelsea was still napping to give him more of a chance to open the presents himself.  He was more interested in playing with the notebook Uncle Steve had and didn't open the presents himself.  Ben would open the presents then show Tyler.  Maybe he'll be able to open some presents himself by Christmas!

We took pictures of the present opening so those of you who gave him a gift could see pictures of tyler "opening" your gift since we didn't do it at the party.

Steve was writing down who gave us what and Tyler kept trying to take the notebook away from him!

Tyler biffing it in the background!  At least he fell on something soft :)

Time to try out some of the toys!

Chelsea woke up from her nap just in time to try out some of the toys!  She also had a gift to open from Great Grandma and Grandpa Fisher.  They bought Chelsea some play jewelry and she wore it all immediately!

Check out that bed head!
