Spring Fun!

Ben likes to take the kiddos to Home Depot for the free kiddo project days.  The kids really enjoy making projects with daddy!

Tyler is loving his new minions bike!  Fortunately he isn't a big fan of the attached fart blaster and always has it turned off!

Cheese!

The kiddos always go with me to the Chiropractor.  While we were waiting for him the kids were playing "chiropractor" and giving each other pretend adjustments. Monkey see Monkey do!

We try to bring Mina on a walk or two a day.  It's the first summer that I've let the kids walk with me (not in the stroller) and actually help walk Mina.  They are both very proud to share the responsibility of walking her.

Tyler has also discovered a love of picking out his outfits every day!

We love going to the zoo.  I especially love the goats!

The baby goats are especially snuggly this year!

I bent down to pet a goat and another one jumped on my back!

We've been going to the zoo with the Hay's for years now.  It's been so much fun watching the kids grow, change and bond over the years!

Andi saw the goat jump on my back and caught it on camera!

It was a really hot day at the zoo so we let the kiddos run through the splash pad fully clothed!

Tyler and his friend Alex hanging out at a play date.  These two are so darn cute together!

We went to a birthday party at Chucky Cheese a couple weeks ago.  Both of the kiddos are scared of the mouse. Chelsea overcame her fear at this visit but Tyler snuggled up to me and hid behind me once the mouse came out.  He was not a fan.

Chelsea striking a pose while showing off her new swim suit!

Backyard fun!

Chelsea showing off her bracelets that she received from Jillian and Joel on the anniversary of her baptism!

We went with our friends, Kjirsten and Doug, to a twins game a couple weeks ago.  Ben had tickets through work in the "catch section" which was a lot of fun!  Lots of food, drink and comfortable seating!

Date Nights, Crayola Experience, etc!

The kiddos have been very interested in cooking with me lately.  I've been trying to plan as many baking / cooking opportunities for them as I can!

At Tyler's last haircut the stylist spiked his hair and he looked so darn cute and old!  Unfortunately he hasn't let me do it to his hair since.

Tyler getting ready to take a nap with me in my bed.  He has been hat obsessed lately and had to place his hats at the end of the bed for safe keeping during the nap!

Ben and I have a babysitter come every Thursday night so we can get out just the two of us.  We've been going on a lot of bike rides and dinners after because the weather has been gorgeous!

I took the kiddos to the Crayola Experience at the Mall of America about a month ago.  We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to go back!

In this area the kids could dance around in front of a screen and the crayon would imitate them!

In this area the kids could 'color' a picture on a tablet and it would go up to a big screen.  The kids could then interact with their own coloring!

A Crayola playground!

Melting crayons to harden into fun shapes!

Art with melted crayons!

The kids loved this area where they could use markers to draw on whatever they wanted!

A big light bright!

Playground time!

Look at all the goodies that the kiddos got to bring home!

Time to paint!

Time to dry the paintings!

We were able to watch a presentation on how crayons were made!

After a few hours in Crayola land we were starving!

I forgot to take pictures of the kids favorite parts of the Crayola experience.  The kids were able to pick out whatever color crayon they wanted and create their very own label for that crayon.  The kids named crayons after themselves and were able to take them home!
