We enjoyed 4.5 days of quality family time at home over the 4th of July weekend this year! It's so nice to have Ben home a little extra during the week to hang out with us :) It was also nice not to have to pack all of our stuff up, pack the car, fight with traffic then turn around and do it again coming home. There is something to be said about spending a long weekend at home relaxing.
I forgot which day I took this picture, but one the kiddos and my favorite thing to do is to go to Lifetime Fitness in the AM. The kids have a blast playing in the child center, mom de stresses with a yoga class and we enjoy a yummy lunch in the Life Café after. If we are lucky some of our friends will join us :-)
On the Thursday before the 4th, I had my friend Stella and her kiddos over to hang out. They had a lot of fun playing together and eating a yummy lunch of Mac N Cheese (what else?!) together.
We let the girls play a little dress up after lunch and they were so darn cute together!
Ben came home early on Thursday so we took the kiddos to the Maple Grove Lifetime pool. We walked thru the gym on the way to the pool and Tyler was exclaiming "Ball, Ball, Ball" the entire time. Little boy is obsessed with balls and basketball hoops :)
Ball, Ball, Ball!
Swim Time!
With Ben home it was so much easier to shop for and prepare yummy meals. We made Salmon and Crab Legs the first night! YUM! I could eat crab legs every night of the week :)
Fourth of July Freezie time!
Who said Freezies are only for kids?!
Another yummy meal! Ben grilled up some hamburger, potatoes and corn for our 4th of July dinner
One tired little girl...Pre dinner nap!

Chelsea LOVES corn!

We went to our friends' house for a BBQ on Saturday. Good people, Good food and fun times!
Ben snuggling with Chelsea trying to get her to sleep
We went to another great friends' house on Sunday to hang out, swim in their pool, eat some yummy food and let the kiddos play.
Weeee!
Tyler woke up the next Monday with a swollen eye. It freaked me out a bit, but he didn't seem bothered by it. It looked better and better as the day went on and I'm guessing it was just a bug bite.
