On Saturday of Ben's boys' weekend we had two kiddo birthday parties to attend. The first was a raptor party and the kiddos were able to watch a presentation given by the U of M raptor center. It was really fun for the kiddos (and adults!) to see.
Chelsea kept raising her hand to ask questions during the entire presentation. At least she wasn't just blurting out questions!
The second birthday party was a friend of Chelsea's from preschool. It was her first drop off birthday party and I was very nervous about it since she already had one birthday party under her belt that day (with no nap) and I didn't know the mom well. Chelsea ended up doing extremely well at the birthday party and had a blast.
I arrived about fifteen minutes early to pick Chelsea up from her birthday party (Eastman Nature Center) and enjoyed watching the kiddos have fun!
The kiddos were able to touch a turtle!
Chelsea is very inquisitive. She was constantly raising her hand to ask questions at this party as well!
Chelsea ready to go home with her balloon and sucker from the party!
Tyler isn't even close to potty trained right now. He hasn't EVER gone potty in the toilet. That Saturday night he took a big step and sat on the toilet. Fully dressed, but it's a step! I sent this picture to Ben. I'm sure it was a picture he really enjoyed getting at 8pm on Boys Weekend! :)
Mina and I bonding later than night... I was hanging out in my PJ's outside with her and she came up to me and started licking my eyes... she used to do that to Molly. Mina is a very caring little poochie!
Ben got home at a fairly decent time on Sunday and wanted to go with us to the Nature Eastman Center. We went on a nature walk on a couple of the trails.
I gave each kiddo a zip lock baggie to fill with goodies they found on the nature walk. Here's Chelsea showing me her bag at the beginning of the trail!

What a beautiful picture
We walked out on a dock on the pond. The water was pretty icky looking and Chelsea wasn't a fan.
The kiddos showing us their bags of goodies! We made them dump out the contents of their bags on the trail before we left. I know, what mean parents!
We went to Chelsea's favorite lunch spot after our nature hike... Chipotle!
That afternoon we had a pool party to attend. The weather was decent but there were periods of heavy rain. I love this picture of Mike grilling in the pouring rain!
The girls!
