Our friends Mike and Julia recently purchased a cabin on Lake Ida near Alexandria so we now have yet another reason to be in the Alex area! We headed up to Lake Mina on a Friday in May and then swung over to Lake Ida to spend Saturday night with them. We left pretty early for home on Sunday because I had to get home for my first High Tea experience at the St. Paul Hotel and Ben was taking the kiddos to a birthday party. It was a fun weekend!
The kids want to be just like us at the cabin and copy everything we do. They moved their chairs close to the deck bench so they could lounge with their feet up. Just like the adults!

Tyler has been pretty attached to Steve every time we've been at the cabin this year. He doesn't go far from his side and it really makes Ben and my life much easier when Tyler is entertained.

I went with some friends to High Tea at the St. Paul Hotel on Sunday afternoon. It was a really fun experience and we have already scheduled our next one! The food was really yummy.
