I wrote a lot about our vacation and the resort we stayed at in blog #1. Here is the link to that blog.
Ben and I enjoyed relaxing on our patio whenever we had the chance and the kids loved to climb this little tree, dig in the dirt and explore.
This was part of our view from our room. The golf course ran right by our patio and one of the pools we frequented is off in the distance a bit.
We enjoyed walking around the resort and exploring. The kids really enjoyed picking wild flowers!
I was trying to get a picture of the kids by our building sign but it was way too sunny for them to look at the camera.
We swung into the child center almost every day to let the kids play. The child center was a quick walk away from our room and next to one of the pools that we loved to go to.
Some general pictures of the childcenter
The free movie theater (and free popcorn!). In the mornings kiddo movies would be playing and adult movies would play during the afternoon / early evening. Every night at 8 there was a specific In Room movie that you can watch.
We were the only ones in the movie theater to watch Inside Out. Ben also took the kiddos to watch Transylvania 2 later in the week.
After the morning movie we headed to the other pool that we love. This pool is a walk in pool and is very shallow for a long time. It was a perfect pool for the kids and we weren't nervous about them at all. Meaning: mom and dad could sit back and relax a bit more at this pool!
This pool also had a splash pad, hot tubs and sandy area.
The pool areas all have ice and water machines. Tyler loved chomping on the ice cubes while in the pool.
If you look closely you'll see a little hummingbird on this plant!
My little Monkey watching a show
I'm a clutz. Not only did I spill chocolate shake all over the place the first morning but I dropped a glass container of jelly and it shattered everywhere. The blob of jelly on the plate is what I could salvage.
Ben blowing up the inner tube to use at the pool. The kids loved playing with it! Chelsea loved collecting pine cones and tying weeds around them and we'd hang them up for her outside on trees.
There was one area of the resort that had tons of beautiful wildflowers growing. I wouldn't be surprised if they took flower seed packets and sprinkled them around this area. The kids loved to pick them and made me bouquets daily!
We'd sneak on the cart paths when no golfers were present to walk the golf course a bit.
A view from the golf course.
