Chelsea and Tyler comparison at 3 months!

We took this picture of Chelsea when she was about 3 months old.  Tyler is now wearing this sleep sack at night and seeing him in it reminded us so much of Chelsea so we found the picture to compare with Tyler now.

Here is a picture of Tyler in the sleep sack.  Unfortunately I don't know where the hat is so I couldn't replicate the picture exactly.  They look so much like each other at this age!

tyler really enjoys looking at himself in mirrors now!  he'll sit on his playmat and make faces at himself in the mirror for long stretches of time!

Chelsea LOVES Molly!  Molly LOVES getting attention so it's a win win :)

She liked them so much I handed over my plate so she could eat them all!

Cutest Playdate Ever!

here is a link to my friend Andi's blog she wrote about our most recent play date.  Andi captured some GREAT pictures of the kiddos as well as a cute video.

Maddie and Chelsea are only a couple of weeks apart in age and Dannie and Tyler are only a week apart. It has been so great watching Maddie and Chelsea grow up together.  Play dates started out with them laying by each other as infants and now they are running around together, getting into trouble together, dancing together and eating their favorite food of mac n cheese, chicken nuggets and fruit together!  I hope Dannie and Tyler end up growing up as closely as Maddie and Chelsea are :-)

Professional Pics - Chelsea 2 years & Tyler 3 months

We had some family pictures taken last weekend and already have them back!  Overall I am happy with the pictures, but wish that we would have had a little more time with the photographer.  We only had an hour appointment and it wasn't enough time to get the number of poses and shots that I would've liked.  If we use this photographer again we'll have to schedule a two hour session to get more of a variety of pictures.

Unfortunately Chelsea would NOT smile in any of the pictures.  I was so bummed... she is little miss personality and she didn't show any of it during the photo shoot.  At least we got a couple of pictures with both kiddos looking at the camera.  I can't ask for too much more with a two year old and a three month old :-)  Hopefully, once the kiddos get a little older and listen to direction we can get some more creative shots as well!

My beautiful family!

where is your beautiful smile chelsea?!

The photographer had chelsea put on this cute little vintage looking outfit and pearls.  She looked so adorable in the outfit running around the studio.

Tyler was very photogenic!  He loved the camera :)

The Superbowl, Chelsea hamming it up and current wardrobe choices!

Chelsea, Tyler and I have been spending a lot of time in the house this winter.  On days that we don't go out and about I let Chelsea choose her outfits.  She has been choosing to wear skirts, dresses and leggings over pant play outfits!  She calls them 'princess dresses'.  Anyone who knows me well knows that it takes a lot to get me out of my workout clothes and into anything that even closely resembles a 'princess dress'!  Needless to say, Chelsea's wardrobe choices are unexpected :-) Now, if she would only let me style her hair!

I took some pictures of two of her outfits.  Chelsea also loves when I switch the camera on my IPhone so she can see what it's taking a picture of.  She starts making funny faces, laughing and hamming it up for the camera.

Cheese!

One of Chelsea's princess choices!

Grandma loveland bought her some princess (snow white) socks and she has to wear them anytime she sees them...

Hamming it up for the Iphone camera!

Another one of Chelsea's wardrobe creations.  All her dresses were in the wash so she found her princess swimsuit and picked out a pair of leggings to wear!  I tried deterring her from this outfit, but it was a no go!

She was so excited after I put the swimsuit on her she started running around, dancing and twirling!

Strike a pose!

She was not happy when her leg warmers started to fall below her knee.. she had to pull them up!

I had to bribe her with crackers to get a sweater on her (to keep her warm).  the sweater only lasted five minutes before she took it off!

Little Miss Personality posing for the camera again!

For two Superbowls in a row we went to dinner at Rush Creek.  We didn't have any 'parties' to go to the past couple years so decided that the $10 burger and beer special would be a perfect fit and we could get out of the house for a bit.  I like Rush Creek on Sunday's in the winter because it isn't very busy and it's the only restaurant that we can let Chelsea run a bit when she gets antsy.  That way Ben and I can relax a bit during dinner, enjoy our beer and the waitresses have some entertainment as well.  Tyler was a good boy and slept in his car seat the entire hour or so that we were there.

Chelsea chugging her Superbowl beverage... Water!

Yes, I realize she is standing on her chair.  It was the lesser of two evils... Standing or Tantruming!

Rush creek has yummy and some healthy kids meal options!  Chelsea really likes the turkey burger and fruit.

Having fun in the dining room.

When Chelsea decided it was time to go up a random staircase we figured it was time to go!
