Kiddo Activities! T-ball, Occupational Therapy, Dance and Mommy and Chelsea time!

The kiddos are at the age where we are constantly on the go to one activity or another.  I can only imagine what it will be like in a few years when more activities are available to them. I am a person that thrives when busy.  The busier I am the more focused I am.  I'm hoping my kiddos are the same way because we are only getting started!

Chelsea is taking T-ball for the first time this year.  I pulled out my glove and practiced with Chelsea shortly before her first game.  Chelsea is loving Tball so far!  She especially loves playing in the dirt in the infield :)

Chelsea almost taking my head off with a T-ball hit in our backyard! :)

Tyler is the best little ball shagger ever!  I love when the kiddos entertain each other!

A picture of us before Chelsea's first Tball game!

Chelsea running from second to third!

Of course Chelsea has to wear a skirt to TBall!

Ben decided to bike (with Tyler) to Chelsea's game!

Tyler goes to Occupation Therapy once a week for his sensory 'issues.'  He has gone twice now and absolutely loves it. I took pictures of the room during his first session.

My friend, Nikki and her husband Charlie, own the People's Organic in Minnetonka.  The restaurant is only a couple blocks from St. Davids (where Tyler gets his OT) so we decided to go there for lunch.  VERY YUMMY!  I highly recommend stopping here sometime for a very yummy meal!

Burger Time!

My meal!  A greek quinoa wrap.  Now that I'm looking at this picture I'm craving it again!  Looks like Tyler and I will be going back to People's Organic again after Therapy tomorrow :)

Tyler's meal.. minus one cheeseburger!

Chelsea had her dance rehearsal on Saturday May 2nd.  It was an absolutely beautiful day.  Since it was so nice Ben took Tyler up to the cabin for the day / night.  I was able to spend about 24 hours of quality time with my baby girl!  I felt like the world was our oyster just the two of us.  It was hard narrowing down what we should do to take full advantage of our time together.

We spent a lot of time outside Saturday morning.  Chelsea helped sweep and decorated the driveway with chalk. We went to Chipolte for lunch and split a Chicken burrito bowl.  Chelsea's FAVORITE place to go eat.  unfortunately Tyler doesn't eat well at Chipolte so we rarely get to go there.  Then we went home and got ready for the dress rehearsal. After her dress rehearsal we ran a couple of errands before heading home.  After dinner we hung out and made cookies before bed.  I even let Chelsea sleep in my bed that night!  After sleeping IN an extra hour the next morning we got up and went to see Cinderella at the Plymouth Mann theater.  We had great time!

Chelsea's tap routine!

A video of her tap routine.  sorry, I video recorded with my phone and didn't realize I was recording it so it would be sideways.

The grand finale!

Chelsea did SO WELL on stage.  ESPECIALLY during the finale.  She was front and center dancing her booty off!

Chelsea's grand finale!

We were the only ones at the 9:10am showing of Cinderella!  I didn't realize how cozy the seating at this theater is.  I'm pretty sure that we will ALWAYS go to the Plymouth Theater over the Maple Grove Theater now.

Who says you can't have a full movie theater breakfast?!

Chelsea enjoying the lounger!

Chelsea had trophy day at dance last week.  I had a babysitter come over to watch Tyler so I could watch Chelsea dance and be part of her Trophy day. It was the first time all year I've been about to watch Chelsea practice (since I'm usually running around after Tyler trying to keep him happy why Chelsea practices).  It was really nice to just sit, relax and enjoy.

warm up time!

Practicing the finale!  I get such a kick out of the finale dance that I had to post it again :)

Chelsea was the first to get her tap shoes on and ran around the studio enjoying herself!

She had a lot of fun laying on the ground and tapping her feet on the floor!

Now she's getting a little tired waiting for her friends :)

During the last ten minutes of class the kiddos were given their trophies.  Here is Chelsea receiving her 1st year trophy!

She was very proud of it!

Here is her dance instructor, Lori, showing off how big the trophies get after several years of dance!  Of course all of the kiddos now want to dance for 15 years to get a BIG trophy :)
