Be still my heart

Sometimes I post a photo dump of several great pictures that don't really go together.  This is one, but my heart has melted looking back at these pictures.  The love I have for my family surpasses all other loves.  My kiddos have me wrapped around their little fingers and I am so thankful for these moments shared with my loves.

We haven't taken many pictures on our 'real camera' lately but brought it along to Blue Fin over Labor Day Weekend.  We only took a couple pictures on it and I completely forgot about those pictures.  For some reason, I really like this picture.  Ben took a picture of me taking a picture with Tyler out on a hike.

Tyler loves playing with trains.  He has a couple battery operated trains and somehow got one stuck in his hair!  After making sure he was ok, I took out my phone to snap a couple pictures and take a video because he was so darn cute.  I then put him out of his misery and cut the train out of his hair!

A video of Tyler with his train stuck in his hair.  He wasn't very happy!

Ben really enjoys taking the kiddos to Home Depot  when they have the free kids project making days. I joined them one Saturday and it was fun to see Ben in his element and the kids having such a good time!

Finished products!

Chelsea is taking gymnastics this year and really enjoys practicing in the living room.  Tyler loves getting in on the action as well!

Ben brought me home some fabulous goodies on my Birthday!

Ben and I went out the night after my Birthday and Chelsea wanted to take a picture with me before we left!

A really cute video of the kiddos singing happy birthday to me!

Over my birthday this year I wasn't feeling great.  I had a cold for a couple weeks that ended up progressing to a sinus infection.  Unfortunately I let it go a little too long thinking I would just get better with time.  Finally I went into the Target Minute Clinic and walked out with a couple prescriptions and felt better in two days time!

Chelsea has started to do her own hair and rarely lets me help her.  She put her hair in this bun and I was really impressed so took a picture!

Ever since we came back from Seattle I've been keeping my eye out for Asian Pears and couldn't find them anywhere.  We randomly found some at Costco and both Chelsea and I were beyond excited!  So Yummy!

Snuggles with my loves!  I live for moments like this!

The kiddos love going to Whole Foods for the samples and the play area.  We went to Whole Foods after Chelsea's dance class for some shopping, lunch and play one day a couple weeks back. This is a picture in the play area.

Mina is rarely far from my side!

Heading to the vet for a regular checkup!

The kiddos are in Church school this year so they are really become more interested in praying and reading out of their story Bibles.  Here are a couple cute videos of Chelsea praying!

Halloween!

Both Chelsea and Tyler LOVE Halloween!  I've never been a huge fan of Halloween but it's starting to grow on me a bit since my kiddos love it so much.  Who doesn't love making their kiddos happy and celebrating with them?!?!  I never thought I'd dress up in costume but Chelsea begged me to.  I couldn't say no so showed up with some cozy costumes for both Ben and I (he didn't have a choice in the matter!) a couple days before Halloween.  The kids loved us in costume and I have to admit... it was kind of fun :)

I let the kiddos pick out 'stick in' decorations for their pumpkins and we assembled them together one night.  Ben carved two pumpkins with them while I made some very yummy roasted pumpkin seeds the night before Halloween.  We went to a friend's house for a kiddo potluck and trick or treating on Halloween.  We had a lot of fun this year!

Tyler picked out a spiderman pumpkin décor while Chelsea picked out an Olaf décor!

I thought I'd try my hand at roasting pumpkin seeds and they turned out really good!  I wish I would've made more!

The kiddos enjoying some roasted pumpkin seeds.  I was floored when Mr. Picky Eater exclaimed "Me Love Them"!!!  I couldn't believe it!

The finished products!  An Owl and A Spider.

If I have to dress up for Halloween it's going to be in a very cozy, warm and comfortable outfit!

Chelsea was Rainbow Dash (my little pony) and Tyle was Dusty Crophopper!

Ben was a Panda Bear :)

The above pictures were taken on our 'real' camera.  I've also downloaded some pictures from my Phone so there will be some repeats here...
