Dancing Queen! Must watch videos!

We went to a 4 year old's birthday party on Saturday afternoon and had a great time!  Chelsea ate A LOT of sugar and was pretty amped up when we got home.  We were sitting on the deck playing kiddo music and watching Chelsea dance after we got home.  And when I say dance, I mean go crazy!

I took three short videos of her crazy dancing and can't stop watching them!  Make sure you watch each video from start to finish... some get better towards the end!

ENJOY!

Applejacks Orchard

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is to visit Applejacks Orchard in Delano.  I brought Chelsea at least three times last fall when I was pregnant with Tyler.  There are so many (FREE!) toddler friendly activities to burn some energy out.  I also love making applesauce and apple crisp.  Applejacks also sells this amazing apple fritter bread that tastes amazing plain or made into French toast.  I buy several loafs per year and freeze them to use at a later date.

We made our first visit to the orchard yesterday.  My friends Nikki, Charlie and their kiddos met us there.  Since it's so early in the season not all of the activities were up and running and the apple selection was pretty slim.  We still had a great time!  The kids played on the hay stacks, loved the animals and Chelsea REALLY enjoyed her apple donut and apple juice that I bought her for a mid morning treat!

Chelsea, Tyler and I were the first ones to the orchard Thursday morning.  Chelsea had the entire hay / slide play area to herself!

Chelsea loves school bus's.  She excitedly points them out while we are driving.  She was very excited to have her picture taken here!

Chelsea wasn't quite tall enough for this one!

There are the cutest little pigs at the orchard this year.  I love them!

After a couple hours of play I took Tyler and Chelsea in for lunch.  Tyler chomping on an apple

Chelsea extremely excited about her mac n cheese!  I had a taste of it and OH MY GOSH... this is the best mac n cheese I've tasted in a long time. Home made and very yummy!

A new school year!

It's starting to feel like Fall outside!  Even though my kiddos aren't technically in school yet, I still get the back to school itch.  I've started buying Tyler and Chelsea's clothes for fall / winter and am getting the itch to go through their closets to re organize the clothes.  Since the weather is still fairly warm I'm holding myself back from changing out their clothes, but am chomping at the bit.  I'm a little OCD when it comes to organization so the closet disarray of some new fall clothes mixed in with their old summer clothes is driving me nuts!

Chelsea got a new pair of cowgirl boots!  She originally saw them and said "I'm NOT a cowboy" and didn't want to buy them.  Then she looked closer and saw the sparkles and got excited.  She then said "I AM a cowboy" and immediately wanted to try them on.  What a girly girl!

I signed Tyler up for a 15 week ECFE class on Tuesday mornings.  They also offer sibling care so Chelsea gets to go to a class and play while Tyler and I are in his class.  It's such a wonderful idea!  I am really cherishing this time with Tyler since I haven't been able to get a whole lot of Mamma / Tyler time.  It was so much fun watching him play in class without Chelsea around.  I really get to see the full extent of his wonderful / playful / individual personality.

Here is a picture of Chelsea right after I dropped her off in sibling care.  She was so excited to go to class and immediately ran into the room.

She had absolutely NO issue with mamma leaving her

I didn't take too many pictures of Tyler in class.  There are 8 other moms / babies in the class so I didn't want to sit there taking pictures the entire time.  The babies range from 9-18 months.  Tyler is one of the youngest.

Playtime!

One thing that I really love about class is that there are so many different toys for them to play with / on.  I HATE clutter so don't buy massive amounts of toys for our house.  At ECFE he gets to play with so many 'new' toys that we do not have.  This way the toys stay exciting since he doesn't see them every day at home.

Family Time and a Twin's Game!

We went to a twins game on Sunday.  Ben's work hosted it in a suite!  I was focused more on Tyler and chatting with people so couldn't tell you who we played or if we won. BUT, it was a lot of fun hanging out in the suite, eating lots of food, talking with people and showing off the kiddos.

Chelsea standing in the back of the truck getting ready to go into the stadium.  Yes, she picked this outfit out!  She even picked the coordinating hair bow... good girl!

She was very excited to 'watch baseball'

Another family pic!

Chelsea really enjoyed the outdoor seating.  She (and Ben) stayed outside for a lot of the game.

Tyler and his friend Lydia hanging out!

She was very into the game.  She would clap every time the crowd cheered!

Tyler taking advantage of the buffet food.  Rosted chicken was his preference.

Chelsea fell asleep instantly.  She was exhausted and had so much fun!

We attended a family wedding reception on Saturday night.  My parents and brother's family also attended.  It was wonderful to get some hang out time with everyone.

Joel, Chelsea and I!  Chelsea is chugging her first full can of soda.  She loves Sprite!

The kiddos running around.  My niece Alyssa really loves babies so she was very helpful in taking care of Tyler for some of the time.
