what a crazy week!

This blog is a little overdue but here it is!  Chelsea was baptised last weekend!  Grandma and Grandpa Loveland, Grandma and Grandpa Fisher, Great Grandma and Grandpa Fisher, Godparents Jon, Joel and Jillian, Jon's girlfriend Shanna, my nieces and uncle steve were all here to celebrate Chelsea becoming part of God's kingdom!  It was a wonderful weekend and our baby girl behaved so well!  Chelsea received some wonderfully generous gifts as well.  We feel so blessed to have had our families together in celebration.

Chelsea is growing up so fast!  I can't even keep up with all the new things she learns.  Something new stands out to me daily!  This week is her green bean week... we are feeding her one new baby food every week.  She had rice cereal the first couple weeks, the next week was squash and now we are on green beans.  She loves it all and is such a good eater!  We will be starting carrots next week.  Her newest discovery is how to blow raspberries.  It is so funny / cute to see her stick out her tounge and make noise.  It may get a little old tho since she has been doing it non stop for the past two days!

We were going to leave this morning for Alexandria, but Mina decided that we were NOT going to be leaving town.  She was sick (I'll spare you all details) for a couple days but then it got progressively worse.  I brought her to the vet at 6 last night and she has some sort of colitis.  she received two injections at the vet, a prescription dog food and antibiotics.  The vet said to lay low this weekend and not to cause her any stress.  She is slowly on the mend and hopefully by tomorrow she will be 100%.  My carpets nor my sanity can not handle any more sickness.....  it's been a rough / busy couple of days!  Caring for a sick dog, another dog and my baby by myself during the day for a couple days really took it out of me.  I slept like a rock last night!

Entering the World of Loud baby toys!

so fun to see Chelsea playing with something while she is actually sitting up on her own! The first tiny bit of the video may be a little fuzzy, but gets better :-)

Daycare!

Chelsea goes to Daycare once a week (on Wednesdays).  She absolutely loves it and mom gets "stuff" done around the house on those days.  Daycare does such a good job with her and I feel she learns so much there.  They sent me home with Chelsea's "artwork" yesterday and a bunch of pictures that they took of her.  I took pictures of these pictures and will post them below :-)  SO CUTE!

She had a little help creating these masterpieces!

 An artist in the making??

more pictures of her creating her masterpieces!

Adventures at the cabin!

Last weekend we went up to Lake Mina with Chelsea from Saturday morning thru Monday morning.  The weather was absolutely beautiful and it was so nice for us to get so much fresh air!  It's so easy at home to keep Chelsea inside the house all day.  I haven't quite figured out how to "hang out" with her outside quite yet.

We took some boat rides, went fishing and visited Grandma and Grandpa Loveland.  On Saturday afternoon Joel, Ben and Uncle Steve helped out my dad in putting his docks in the lake.  Chelsea and I hung out with my mom, Jillian and my nieces while the boys were working outside.  It is so fun to bring Chelsea around her cousins and they seem to love her.  I can't wait until she can start playing with them!  We brought her fishing with us on Sunday.  The fishing was a little slow, but Ben caught a baby walleye and I caught a bass.  We "showed" the fish to Chelsea each time and she was very interested.  Pretty soon Ben will have a pretty princess pink fishing pool in his boat :)  Uncle Steve seemed to really take to Chelsea as well.  They will be good buds by the end of the summer!

Every single day Chelsea is learning so much.  She is now sitting up pretty well on her own!  We can't leave her alone sitting up yet, but I have a feeling she is close!  She tends to faceplant sometimes when she loses her balance so she still has a little ways to go.  At this time she will lean forward a bit while sitting and sometimes uses her arms for support.  Pictures below!

Such a strong little girl!
