Tyler / Mama Day!

Ben took Chelsea to the Cabin with Chuck and Maddie this morning.  I stayed home with Tyler so naturally, Andi and Dannie got together with us this morning.  We met up at the MOA for some shopping, mall walking and lunch.  I splurged on lots of yummy lotions and bubble baths in anticipation of my relaxing bath after Tyler went to bed.

Ben and Chelsea are having a wonderful time at the cabin and I'm very jealous of their daddy / daughter day and night.  BUT - I do love an occasional Trisha night.  I bought and made myself crab legs for dinner.  I took a long bubble bath as soon as Tyler fell asleep.  Now I'm catching up on blogs, enjoying a Captain and watching my new guilty pleasure.... Nashville.

Tyler and Dannie checking each other out.  I purposely didn't bring a ball to the MOA because I knew Tyler would toss it around and it would be a major pain.  Unfortunately, Tyler immediately noticed a ball in Old Navy and five minutes later I was purchasing yet another $10 to keep the peace.

Can you tell he has an older sister?

Tyler is on the loose!

The toddler taking the MOA by storm!

An inevitable temper tantrum before lunch.  There wasn't much I could do besides sit back, snap a few pictures and hope it blew over quickly.

I finally got Tyler to the lunch table, bolted to the nearest Chinese restaurant to buy him some noodles and held my breath.  He rallied pretty well.

Tyler decided he was done eating and wanted to make the moves on Dannie.  Seriously, they are the cutest!  He looks like he is in love :)

Kisses!  They kissed each other for a few minutes.  It was darn cute!

Dannie stopped kissing Tyler so he moved on to climb random high chairs. I went over to get him and smelled a pretty nasty diaper.  no wonder Dannie stopped kissing him!

My dinner!  Crab legs are one of my favorite foods of the moment. I'm pretty sure that I'll be buying another batch for later in the week :)

I wish this picture was more clear, but it melts my heart.  Usually Chelsea is all over Molly, but without Chelsea around Tyler was able to have exclusive rights to Molly.  He was snuggling with her and kissing her.  Be still my heart....

Lots of fun pictures!

More phone pictures!

Tyler is a very active, strong willed little man.  He is also a very cuddly, cute sweetie pie (well, when he chooses to be!)

Tyler likes crawling up on my bed and snuggling in.  Who can resist this face?!

As you all probably know already, Tyler's favorite food is Chinese noodles.  We went out to lunch after the club one day and he made a huge mess of himself and three separate groups of people came to talk to me about how cute he was.  I wonder if I would be as cute shoveling noodles in my mouth as him?!  Yeah, probably not.

Chelsea and Tyler are best buds.  They were playing a game of shutting each other in a cabinet by the TV the other day and giggling uncontrollably!

We went to the Loveland Family Reunion last weekend.  Most of my family on my dad's side live in Iowa.  I wish we could get together more often.  This is a very precious picture of my father and my grandmother (his mother).

I've had my share of life altering stomach problems over the past couple of years.  Along with those stomach problems I've gone to more doctor appointments than I can count.  The last doctor put me on a Low Fod Map diet which didn't do a whole lot from me.  Plus it was a horribly difficult diet to follow, I felt like I wasn't eating mainly crap food while gaining a few pounds.  A no win situation.

I've put myself back on a low allergen (the doctor's before the last one put me on that) diet.  I feel much better on this 'diet', feel healthier and am sure to drop those extra pounds quickly.

With that said, I've gotten back into juicing in the mornings.  Chelsea LOVES helping me make my juice and was so excited when I brought the juicer back out :)

A picture of Tyler in prime form!

The kids and I went to my friend Kelly's house one afternoon last week to let the kids run in the backyard.  It was a beautiful day and the kids had so much fun together!  Tyler immediately found the biggest ball in the yard to play with :)

Weeee!

The simplest things can entertain a toddler :)  Yummy hose water!

A movie and coloring date with Chelsea in the basement

I took the kids to the Plymouth Lifetime Pool on Friday afternoon to go swimming. We can't get enough of this wonderful Minnesota summer weather!

Yesterday I went to hot yoga in the morning (kids played at the child center), we took the dogs on a walk after lunch, swam at the pool in the afternoon, and went on a walk after dinner.  We were pretty exhausted that night!

Tyler, once again, in prime form during a meal out.

I don't eat ice cream or frozen yogurt (darn milk allergy) so haven't ever thought to take the kids to a frozen yogurt shop.  I took them after naps one hot day a couple weeks ago and we will definitely go back!

Tyler was sitting like a good boy in the booth.  I should've known it was too good to be true!

The Minnesota Zoo!

We went to visit the Zoo with Andi, Maddie and Dannie last week.  Like always, we all had a great time!

Some of the pictures loaded out of order but I didn't think it was necessary to re load them all in sequential order :)

Chelsea and Maddie posing by the aquarium

Maddie and Chelsea brushing a goat

Tyler was extremely scared of the goats during our last zoo visit but didn't show any of that fear this time around.  He really did well brushing the goats.

Dannie wasn't a fan of the goats and preferred to snuggle with her mommy :)

Dancing!  The girls are so darn cute together!

Turtle riding time!

The kiddos love stretching their legs on the Tropics Trail!

If only I could get inside of Tyler's head to hear his thoughts!

There is a butterfly garden for the kids to visit.  We had to wait for a few minutes to listen to some instructions.  Tyler decided he had enough of waiting... go figure!  He is the little red figure going through the door...

The butterfly garden was really fun for the kids AND adults :)  One of the rules in place was to not pick any of the flowers.  The first thing Tyler did was go in and pick a Marigold.

Checking out the butterflies on the flowers

Lunch time!  I ordered WAY too much food.  Can't go wrong with burgers and fries!

Chelsea and Tyler sharing a hot soft pretzel.  Yummy!
