what a crazy week!

This blog is a little overdue but here it is!  Chelsea was baptised last weekend!  Grandma and Grandpa Loveland, Grandma and Grandpa Fisher, Great Grandma and Grandpa Fisher, Godparents Jon, Joel and Jillian, Jon's girlfriend Shanna, my nieces and uncle steve were all here to celebrate Chelsea becoming part of God's kingdom!  It was a wonderful weekend and our baby girl behaved so well!  Chelsea received some wonderfully generous gifts as well.  We feel so blessed to have had our families together in celebration.

Chelsea is growing up so fast!  I can't even keep up with all the new things she learns.  Something new stands out to me daily!  This week is her green bean week... we are feeding her one new baby food every week.  She had rice cereal the first couple weeks, the next week was squash and now we are on green beans.  She loves it all and is such a good eater!  We will be starting carrots next week.  Her newest discovery is how to blow raspberries.  It is so funny / cute to see her stick out her tounge and make noise.  It may get a little old tho since she has been doing it non stop for the past two days!

We were going to leave this morning for Alexandria, but Mina decided that we were NOT going to be leaving town.  She was sick (I'll spare you all details) for a couple days but then it got progressively worse.  I brought her to the vet at 6 last night and she has some sort of colitis.  she received two injections at the vet, a prescription dog food and antibiotics.  The vet said to lay low this weekend and not to cause her any stress.  She is slowly on the mend and hopefully by tomorrow she will be 100%.  My carpets nor my sanity can not handle any more sickness.....  it's been a rough / busy couple of days!  Caring for a sick dog, another dog and my baby by myself during the day for a couple days really took it out of me.  I slept like a rock last night!
