Chelsea helped us decorate the tree this year! She was able to hang some of the ornaments all by herself!
We don't buy fancy or matching ornaments. We prefer to accumulate ornaments that mean something to us. Decorating our tree is always a trip down memory lane. The below ornament is one that I made at a craft event for my mom's club. It was the first mom's club event I ever attended!
We brought the kiddos to meet Santa in Corcoran. The Jaycees throw a wonderful event every year. It's a free event (only asking for a non perishable food donation) and was very well run. We will definitely be going back next year!
Cheslea was very scared of the man who dressed up in a snowman suit. She started screaming immediately when she saw him. Not a very good start!
Tyler checking everything out!
Each child got to write their name on a piece of paper. Then we could put it in a jar for a chance to win a big prize!
I brought Chelsea over to check out the prizes to distract her from the snowman.
Here is the snowman that my daughter was deathly afraid of!
She's finally a happy camper! She's holding her letter that she wrote Santa and is ready to give it to him.
Chelsea's turn to meet santa.
Success!!!!
After her visit with santa, Chelsea was able to pick out a present from under the tree!
Chelsea immediately grabbed a doll!
Chelsea's new prized possession!
Tyler's turn to meet Santa!
Needless to say, he was NOT a happy camper sitting on Santa's lap!
Tyler's turn to pick out a present from Santa!
I gave him a tiara thinking that Chelsea would really like it and Tyler isn't picky at this age.
Chelsea ran over to him and handed him a truck! I told Chelsea that she could have the tiara and she told me that she wanted Tyler to have the truck and I should put the tiara back. What a WONDERFUL big sister!
There were lots of snacks and apple juice for us to enjoy after meeting Santa. What a well run event!
I had some of my friends over for a girls holiday party. My friends Katie and KJ made these drinks. Don't they look yummy?!
We took a picture with Chelsea before she had to leave the party to go to bed.
A picture of all the girls!
Ben took the kiddos out to play in the snow. Chelsea LOVES playing out in the snow and Tyler is just discovering the joy of snow. Mama prefers to stay inside where it's nice and warm :)
Daddy helping Chelsea get into her sled!
Tyler wanting to go out and join them!
One of Chelsea's favorite things to do is to help daddy shovel the driveway, while eating snow!
yummy!
Tyler's turn!
Ben uses his shovel as a sled for tyler. He pushes him up and down the driveway!
A video of daddy and tyler outside!
Here are a couple random pictures. Chelsea really wanted to put a bow in Tyler's hair. She loved it, him, not so much!
Chelsea has been wanting to dress up in all her accessories a lot lately. She put all these clothes on and ran up to me asking "do you think I'm cute mama?" :)
My little diva!
