Running wild and Daddy's work!

Since Tyler was pretty much kicked out of his gymnastics class in September, I have a good chunk of $$ sitting in the Mini Hops Program waiting to be used.  Signing Tyler up for another gymnastics class isn't exactly an option so I thought I would try out open gym time with the kiddos.  They both had a blast!  I can see myself bringing the kiddos to Mini Hops open Gym often this winter.  It's a great place for them to run out some energy and utilize their athletic ability.  I've been to Gleason's Open Gym as well, but think the Mini Hops Open Gym is much more manageable for me with my 'spirited' toddler!

Tyler is fairly averaged sized for a boy his age.  BUT - he is very strong and very athletic for a boy his size / age!  His favorite activity was to hang and swing on this bar.  I honestly don't know how he could physically swing and hold himself up for so long!

Chelsea was tired of waiting for Tyler to give her a turn so she went to find her own bar to swing on :)

Pictures are out of order!  for the last fifteen minutes of open gym Mini Hops opens up the large gym for the kids to run around in!  This picture only shows part of the large gym.

My baby girl has abs of Steele!

Back to the smaller rooms.  Tyler loved the trampoline.  The only issue with the trampoline is that the kids had to wait their turn to jump and only one kid at a time can jump.  Unfortunately, waiting isn't one of Tyler's strongest suits.  He pretty much dominated the trampoline.

Weeeee!

Ahhh.... they like playing with each other!

Chelsea's turn on the trampoline!

Tyler climbed up to the top of this 'ladder.'  I wish I would've been able to take a better picture to show how tall it is, but I was too nervous to move too far away from Tyler as he was climbing up.

Chelsea in the big room!

Ben works in the Carlson Towers and Mini Hops is located very close to his work.  Ben called to invite us to a free pizza lunch in his office and how could we deny an offer like that?!

One of Tyler's favorite new words is Castle.  As soon as we pulled up to the building he excitedly kept pointing and yelling "castle, castle, castle"  Now both Chelsea and Tyler think daddy works in a castle :)  They both also loved the fountain in the entry way.

Of course they find the candy dish at daddy's work!

Daddy, please open these for us!  Chocolate, yummy!
