Spring Fun!

I intentionally did NOT sign my kiddos up for many activities this spring and summer because last winter was so hectic with scheduled activities.  We barely saw any of our friends! The older the kiddos get the more scheduled activities we will have on our calendar.  I want to be able to go and do whatever we feel like this summer.  I even made a 'kiddo bucket list' that we are already 'working on!'  We experienced an absolutely beautiful spring this year and have taken full advantage thus far!  It feels great to pay less attention to cleaning, cooking, scheduled activities and just enjoying :)

A cute video of the kiddos that I forgot to include in the Memorial Day Weekend Blogs!

The kiddos loving the camera in the cabin...  Chelsea was a tad bit over tired here :)

This is a park off of 101 near our house that is absolutely perfect for my kiddos.  I like to run around on the equipment with the kiddos, but if I want to sit down for a few minutes it's completely safe for me adventurous little man.  I took this picture on a beautiful afternoon before school let out so we had the entire park to ourselves!!!

Ben works in the Carlson Towers.  The cafeteria there is REALLY good.  I love the food options. I brought the kiddos to daddy's work to get some lunch one day.  We ordered Tyler a burger and it was as big as his head!  He didn't eat a whole lot of it while sitting down and as soon as I said it was time to go he insisted on carrying it out while taking nibbles off of it.

There is a fountain in the lobby of the Carlson Towers that the kiddos love to check out every time they visit daddy's castle.  Have I mentioned that every time we drive up Tyler shouts out "daddy castle, daddy castle?!?!  Yeah... we watch A LOT of Disney.

Ben and I play volleyball at Mama G's in Maple Grove every Wednesday on a Co Ed team every week. It's our 'date night'. We've been playing at Mama G's for years and I'm thankful that we've found a way to keep it going since having kiddos.

Our team on a beautiful spring night!

You will probably see A LOT of pictures of my backyard this summer.  I am planning on spending as many hours outside as we can this summer!

Chelsea filling up the kiddos pools for me!

Sibling love.  These two have such a strong bond and love each other so much. I originally thought having two kiddos within two years of each other was crazy talk but now am so thankful for the timing! now that Chelsea isn't going to preschool two times per week they are inseparable.  Usually it's a great thing but you can tell by the end of the day that they need to be separated!

Chelsea hamming it up for the camera!

My friend, Kelly, welcome baby Grayson into the world on May 5th.  Margarita drinkers know what day that is :)  A few of us girls went to visit her in the hospital and may or may not have brought some margaritas to enjoy ;-)  PS.  have you ever seen a mama look THAT FABULOUS after giving birth?!

Chelsea LOVES Chipolte.  Anytime we have a Mama / Chelsea date she requests Chipotle!

We went to Pottery Barn Kids to buy Tyler's Big Boy Bed.  The kids enjoyed their time in the store :)

I brought my kiddos to a cupcake shop off of HWY 55 and let them pick out whatever cupcake each wanted to eat.  Kiddo heaven!

My kiddos love couscous.  Tyler spilled a bowl of couscous and insisted on eating it off the floor. He got REALLY mad at me when I tried to clean it up and it took a lot of willpower for me to just sit there and let him lap it up off the floor like Mina.  So whats a mom to do? Take a picture!

I'm so over the movie Frozen.  It's a great movie, but I now want to poke my own eyes out every time I hear "Let it Go".  When I'm desperate... I set up the kiddo's chairs and put on Frozen!

Chelsea showing off the flower she received from Grandma and Grandpa Loveland before her dance recital!

All ready for her dance recital!

I took this picture as Ben was disassembling Tyler's crib.  Tyler was saying goodbye here by trying to climb in it one last time!

Bye Bye crib!

Tyler and Chelsea enjoying Tyler's new bed!!!

Videos of Tyler and Chelsea discovering and loving Tyler's new bed!

Cub Foods offers a free banana, apple or cookie to kiddos during shopping trips.  Usually the kiddos choose a cookie (OBVIOUSLY!) but this trip they chose an apple each!  I was so proud :)

Rare Tyler snuggle time

Passed out on Mama!

A volleyball selfie!

While Ben and I play volleyball on Wed. nights we have a babysitter (Tammy) come watch the kiddos. This is her third year watching the kiddos on Wed. nights for us and she is like a third Grandma.  She's so darn good with the kiddos and the kiddos love her!

Tammy took Tyler (We had Chelsea at Tball before Vball) to check out some 'big trucks' and he was in little boy heaven!  She sent me these pictures.

Hanging outside playing with some sensory toys I put together for him!

Sibling Love once again!  The kiddos walking to the park hand in hand!

Cheese!

We brought the kiddos to the Corcoran Tractor pull a few weeks back.  It was pretty cool and the kiddos really enjoyed themselves!

I splurged and purchased a Mt. Dew.  Don't judge, but I let Tyler try a little since it was a special night ;-)

The kiddos snuggling with daddy :)

A fun video from the tractor pull!
