The Barbie Dream Home Experience!

Chelsea is really into the color pink and Barbies.  I thought a great birthday present would be to bring her to the Barbie Dream home at the MOA.  We were lucky enough that my friend Josie from Colorado was visiting with her daughter this weekend so they could join us!

Unfortunately Josie was so sick Saturday morning that she couldn't join us in the Dream Home, but she sent Teagan in with Chelsea and I.  If you have a little girl who loves everything girly, I would HIGHLY recommend you bring her to the Barbie Dream house.  It will be worth every cent to see the huge smile on her face!  I really enjoyed seeing all the old limited edition barbies that were on display in every room.  It almost made me want to start collecting limited edition barbies ;) The pictures do NOT do the exhibit justice, but you'll get the idea.

The girls before going in

Taking an elevator ride to the first set of rooms.  Both girls were transfixed on the screen where barbie was talking to them :)

Pink Paradise!

Teagan in the drivers seat!

A pretty pink horse!

Chelsea singing into the microphone (that actually worked!) and Teagan playing the piano

The girls lounging in the beach room

Both girls were in love with this doggie!

The Barbie kitchen!

Each kiddo gets a bracelet before going into the exhibit.  Chelsea randomly got a Chelsea bracelet!  it was meant to be :)

Teagan loving the beach room. She really loved the flower that kept popping out of the garden!

Checking out Barbie's room and closet!

A dolphin coming out of Barbie's toilet?!  Now, that's silly!

The girls checking out some of the special edition barbies

In Barbie's closet the girls could try on some of her clothes virtually.  Chelsea is wearing a ballerina gown in this picture!

Teagan is sporting Barbie's cheerleading outfit here!

In this picture Teagan is dancing around in the cheerleading outfit and watching herself in the 'mirror.'  She was so darn happy!

Chelsea's next outfit!

The girls sitting on Barbie's bus watching a movie

Playing in a small Barbie dream home IN the Barbie dream home :)

Teagan getting her make up done!

You can tell Teagan's mama wears make up and knows how to put it on because Teagan picked out very light 'appropriate' colors of make up.

Chelsea's turn!

Teagan brushing Barbie's hair while Chelsea was getting her make up done

Chelsea, on the other hand does not have a mom who is good at make up and decided bright blue eye shadow was for her :)

We all got a picture together after I brought the girls out of the exhibit.  Can you tell they are beat?!  What a fun morning!
