Chelsea attends preschool at the Montessori in Corcoran. Her class put on a special holiday singing performance for us last week. The performance was a little under a half an hour and then we all hung out and ate cookies and drank punch :)
Chelsea was very excited to wear her new red Christmas Dress!
Daddy and Chelsea!
Mommy and Chelsea!
All the kiddos lined up behind Miss Connie and ready to perform!
Chelsea was not a fan of her costume. She had her teacher take it off her during the second song.
All the kiddos were so darn cute! Chelsea was pretty nervous and only sang during the very last song. We were very proud of her that she stayed up front on stage the entire time. It had to be extremely intimidating for the kids to perform with so many people watching.
Cookie and punch time! Tammy (a favorite babysitter of Chelsea's) even came out to watch her perform! Chelsea was very excited to see Tammy!
I had another Girls' Holiday party last weekend with some friends. We had a great time and Chelsea was, once again, very excited to 'party' with some of mama's friends!
My friend Shawna brought me a 'dressed up' beer :)
yummy food!
I don't know how to French braid and Cheslea always wants her hair french braided. Shawna was very sweet to braid Chelsea's hair for her before everyone else showed up!
Parting Gift bags for everyone!
Wine!
Party Time!
Gift Exchange time!
Chelsea had a Holiday Dance Performance last week. She chose to wear her other new Christmas Dress for this performance. My parents came into town to watch her performance.
Chelsea was very excited that Grandma and Grandpa made the trip down to watch her!
Chelsea LOVES dance class and is SO GOOD! That is why we (and everyone else, including her teachers) were very surprised that she was basically a deer in headlights when it came to her performance. Like her school holiday performance, she was very nervous with all of us watching and basically shut down.

She stood still thru the first two dances. By the third dance she was officially done. She took off her dance shoes and literally kicked them across the floor. It took all my will power not to break out laughing...
Then she decided to sit down....
Tally ho folks, I'm outta here! Chelsea eventually just walked off the floor and sat by me.
At least she stood with the group for a picture!
As soon as santa showed up I started swearing under my breath. She is scared of santa and she already had enough issues during the performance. For some reason she loved santa that day!!! A silver lining!
Grandma and Grandpa!
A couple videos of her performance :-)
