Let me start by saying there is no real logical order to the pictures in this blog. Long story short they did not download in order and I'm not patient enough right now to fix them :)
A few weekends ago Chelsea and I went to the Dells with some girlfriends and their preschool aged kiddos. We had an absolute blast! I've said this a million times, but I am so fortunate to have met this group of ladies. Not only do they keep me sane (most are stay at home moms as well, so they understand and know exactly what challenges / joys I face daily), but they all live in Maple Grove, the kids love each other and our husbands all seem to get along as well. Ok, now back to the Dells :)
Chelsea and I rode up with Shawna and Katelyn on Thursday. The other girls would join us on Friday.
This is Friday morning. Shawna is braiding Chelsea's hair for her. I don't really know how to braid, so this was a treat for Chelsea.
Chelsea's braid! Unfortunately her hair is so fine / slippery that it didn't last long. Definitely not Shawna's fault!
So, yeah... I guess I have to explain this since there will be a couple pictures of me with a band aid on my head. I was very tired and clumsy when Shawna picked me up to leave for the Dells on Thursday afternoon. Without paying attention I quickly opened her car door (not realizing that it's a lot longer and pointier than mine!) and smacked myself in the head. I had a cut, a head ache, some air headedness and possible minor concussion for almost a week, but am doing well now :)

Taking a break from playing in the water on Friday. We ordered soft pretzels with cheese and buffalo wings. This is Chelsea's first experience with buffalo wings and she loved them! That's my girl!
