Last but not least of the Blue Fin Bay Blogs!
Good Morning! We decided to go on a wander around the grounds to start out our Sunday!
Ben teaching the kiddos to skip rocks!
Playing at the park!
I decided to take the kiddos to Grand Marais in the early afternoon on Sunday to give Ben a few hour 'break' so he could go on a bike ride. It was my first time taking the kids to Grand Marais on my own and it was a successful and fun trip!
After checking out the sail boats we went in a few of the cute shops to look around
One shop had this play area for kiddos! Of course the shop owner brilliantly placed a ton of cute toys around the edges of the pay area for sale. I let the kids each pick out one souvenir toy to purchase.
Tyler picked out a helicopter and Chelsea picked out a soft moose that she now calls "moosey"
I brought the kids to the beach area to throw some rocks and tyler was upset with me that he couldn't bring his helicopter near the water. He eventually came out of the stroller to throw rocks!
The kids were hungry so I was going to go buy them Grand Marais famous donuts but was side tracked by the Co Op. We went in to check it out and Chelsea was asking me for a pear and tyler wanted an apple. I was so proud of my kiddos picking fruit over donuts!
Back in our townhome showing daddy their new toys!
More swimming!
I got a little free time so I turned on my music, poured a drink and colored Chelsea a picture! This is when I discovered how much I like coloring and how relaxing it is!
We walked back to the Coho Cafe for dinner Sunday night!
We were all sleepy from a busy weekend so all snuggled up and watched the movie Home together before Bed. We all loved the movie! If you haven't seen it yet, see it!
Tyler picks out some interesting places to park his body!
Ben and I watched another movie after the kids went to bed and I colored them each another picture :)
On our way home we stopped in Duluth once again. We always eat lunch at Grandma's Saloon on our drive home. After lunch we stretched our legs walking in Canal Park.
The kids loved walking across the lift bridge! Well... until we had to get off because it was going to lift. that really scared Chelsea and she had a tough time sleeping for a few nights afterwards :(
