Chelsea's first haircut!

We brought Chelsea in for her first hair cut today at Snip It's in Maple Grove.  What a fun salon for kids!  We loved it!  Since it was her first time there the haircut was only $10 and she got a certificate and lock of her hair sent home as a keepsake.

Chelsea was a little unsure to begin with, but as soon as she was presented with bubbles, a sucker and a cartoon she sat there so nicely.  It was almost too uneventful she did so great.  We only had an inch taken off the back and the rest trimmed up since we want to grow it long.

Since I am horrible at styling hair I ended up walking out with two products (yes, my daughter will now use more product in her hair than I do on a daily basis!) to help me out.  We bought a leave in conditioner that is supposed to help keep her hair in good shape while growing it out and a spray in mousse that will help keep her curls curly and her hair put after I style it.  The stylist probably thought I was the easiest "sell" once I quickly agreed to buy the product :-)

We ran over to Costco after her haircut and Chelsea kept talking about her hair cut.  She really enjoyed it and wants to go back!  Since Chelsea was such a good girl and the haircut only took about ten minutes I won't have any problems bringing her with tyler during the week when ben is working for future haircuts.

What's she doing back there?

Yum!  Artificial colors and ingredients :)

Mom couldn't decide between a pink or white bow so the stylist made a pink AND white bow for her hair!
